Downconverter only--Coerced IF in NI-RFSA

VERSION 1

Created on: Sep 3, 2008 1:57 PM by RobertSzalapski - Last Modified:  Sep 3, 2008 1:57 PM by RobertSzalapski

REQUIREMENTS:
Application Software: LabVIEW Professional Development System
Driver Software: NI-RFSA 2.1
Hardware Family: RF
Development Topic: Analog Input

The National Instruments signal anayzers can be used in downconverter-only mode, which allows an external digitizer to be used.  However, downconverter's center frequncy will be coerced to an IF near 15MHz which will not always be exacly 15MHz; there needs to be a way of discovering what the IF is.  In a future release of NI-RFSA, the driver will support this.  For now, this example program finds it in LabVIEW and uses NI-SCOPE to output the aquired spectrum.
