This example VI shows how to measure angular position of a quadtrure encoder using counter input channel in NI-DAQmx Base. The Decoding Type, Pulses Per Revolution, Z Index Enable, Z Index Phase, and Z Index Value are all configurable. You will need to select the quadrature encoder channel that corresponds with your device.
