This VI Simulates the output of a 512 pulses/rev  quadrature encoder

 

To simulate encoder with different pulses per revolution change the "encoder constant" (see diagram block) that is calculated by encoder constant=(num of pulses per revolution*2^32)/(40 10^6*2pi)
