This LabVIEW 7.1 application was used to demonstrate producer-consumer architectures as presented April 2006. The main VI displays the contents of a file at "path" (default: empty). Use the browse button to select another file. Change the display "style" (default: normal; \ codes, hex), "font" (default: App Font) and "size" (default: 13). Enter a search "string" to obtain the "number" of appearances in the text display. All instances are shown in the specified "color" if different from black. The "length" of the file, start "postion" and "selection" length are displayed in the lower right corner. "Save" or "Revert" changes in the file "data" using the buttons.
