Vision - Image Processing - Morphology - Degree of Concavity

This VI uses NI-VISION functions developed in Vision Assistant to determine the level of concavity of a binary image in LabVIEW. This VI helps the user analyze (measure length and area) of the convex hull region of a morphological blob. For more information on morphology, check out the Image Analysis and Processing Developer Zone article. The NI-Vision Concepts Manual is also a great resource. Page 9-31 of the manual describes the function of the Convex Hull VI.
