Simple square wave applied by a potentiostat

VERSION 2

Created on: Mar 16, 2009 2:43 PM by Mike Shaw - Last Modified:  Mar 17, 2009 11:22 AM by Mike Shaw

Functional Description

This vi causes an EG&G PAR potentiostat (e.g. Model 263, Versastat or 273) interfaced to a computer by GPIB to switch its applied potential between two values at a rate determined by the pulse time.

Caveats and Additional Notes

The pulse time is the time the potentiostat will sit at one potential before switching to the other.

This vi can be used to switch an electrode's potential between two values at a constant rate, a pulse program which might be useful for electrochemically-induced luminescence studies.
