Using the TestStand API to get the Number of Sequences in a Sequence File

Functional Description

This example consists of a TestStand 3.5 sequence file. When running this sequence file, you will be prompted to enter the path of the sequence file you would like to get the number of sequences for. Please note that this path must be the full path that includes the file name and the directories must be separated by two backslashes (\\) rather than one.

 

 

Caveats and Additional Notes

Because this example is written in TestStand 3.5, the API is still accessed through ActiveX steps. Note that the same sequence can be written using expressions in TestStand 4.0 and later.
