What's the difference between your book and "LabVIEW for EVERYONE"?
Though I haven't read this new book yet, I have a feeling that you fall into that pothole of Chinese version of programming books again, by using absurd hard-to-understand computer-science terms. The WAY NI and LabVIEW shows itself to the whole world is to Graphical Programming, Easy Programming, even FUN Programming, and LabVIEW community is such an open and free-style one. I am a little concerned that once they read your book, they will fall into the same pattern as how they learn C++ or Java or other text programming language. It won't stay long before the reader loses his enthusiasm again.
I am sorry if I offend you before I even read your book. I just want to share my experience and feelings. Congratulations for the new book.
I have only read a few pages of "LabVIEW for EVERYONE", so its hard for me to tell the difference between the two books. But, I'm sure they are different. The purpose of my book is not to tell the customers how easy the LabVIEW is, but just share some of my own LabVIEW programming experience. My book is not for everyone. My book is not published yet. You may have to wait for a month to read it. But have had posed lost of topics about LabVIEW on my blog. The book and the blog entries have the same style. You can first read my blog to see if the book is suitable for you. Thanks a lot for your comments!
