Possible Bug? --> LabView 8.20 Crashed when saving a Type Def.

I assume that this is a good place to report a possible Bug, so here is what has happened more than once to me:

Crash Description:

I made a change to a "Type Def." enumerated control variable, then saved it & LabView Crashed.

Error Code when labView started up:

The last time you ran LabVIEW, and internal error or crash occured at datamgr.cpp, line 3048

Sequence of events:

  1. Open Strict Type Def. Cluster & Change a Enumerated Variable to "Type Def."

    • Note: Strict Type Def. Cluster used for passing program variables to different states

  2. Changes Saved & Strict Type Def. Closed

  3. Program saved

  4. Replaced Front Pannel Enum Variable with "Type Def." Enum Variable.

  5. Program saved

  6. Opened "Type Def." Enum Variable from front pannel & made a change to the one of the Enum Variable Names

  7. Saved "Type Def."

  8. LABVIEW CRASHED

Other Notes:

  • I have had this happen to me at least once before.

  • I tried to make labview crash again by changing the "Type Def." Enum Variable with out first opening the Strict Type Def. Cluster that it is also located in and No Crash occured.

Any Feedback would be appreciated.

Also, If anyone else has had this happen, it would be nice to know.
