SP7 - Connect to one PLC from multiple clients

Hi,

 

is it possible to connect to one PLC from multiple clients (i.e. multiple computers) at the same time? If so, is there a maximum amount? (The PLC used in this project would be a 1500, but this is a more general question, too).

Hi Jens-Uwe,

 

yes - that is possible.

 

As to how many connections are possible - as far as I know there are some settings available in TIA portal so that would depend on the configuration of the PLC.
