Error code file location?

I have a single error code file containing English error text.  Should it go in project\errors or project\errors\English?

Good question.

I recommend sticking with the language folder you've written the error codes for, in this case that would be the English folder.

If I put it in the English folder will other localizations (e.g., French) see the English error text when an error is displayed, or will they get the message "This error code is undefined.  No one has provided a description for this error code, ..."?
