This Blog entry is the third in a series intended primarily for FIRST Robotics Competiton (FRC) teams and their mentors.
This video and screencast was recorded at a session I gave at East York Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario Canada (team 907) on December 12, 2008. Special thanks to the FRC team and teachers there for hosting our session, we had over 50 students and mentors come together to discuss using LabVIEW on their robots.
We had a very lively day, with lots of excellent discussion, questions, and experimentation. These students never cease to amaze me.
The three videos below total about 40 minutes in length and some of the topics we covered are:
* Launching the default LabVIEW Robot code
* Understanding the structure of the default code
* Adding comments to code
* How to modify the default code:
* Changing to tank drive
* Adding a servo motor
* How to safely duplicate AND THEN MODIFY Library functions

Thank you very much.
These are the best intorductory video's for labview i've seen so far.
The officaial NI video's are helpful, but very dry and boring.
Your video's are both helpful, interesting, and go somewhat into "advanced" info .

Thanks for the kind words. I love doing FRC live sessions, and I think the enthusiasm of the students really shows. And its infectious.
Stay tuned, we're working on more videos to come.
