Flexlogger Database in XML using CAN

Hi, 

I have a CAN device. I am using Flex Logger to log data in TMDS. Instead of using two programs, LabVIEW and driving my unit with CAN bus and reading/logging data using FLEX Logger. Can I use the same Flexlogger database but run it in Labview only and not have Flexlogger logging the CAN bus? 

Is it possible to do so?

Is there any example I can look at?
