Combining Keithley6510 and Keithley2450

I am working with a Keithley DAQ6510 and a Keithley SMU2450 trying to perform IV characteristic curves of photovoltaic cells through SCPI commands sent through Python. I am using a Keithley 7702 multiplexer module with the DAQ to test multiple solar cells in one session. Is it possible to route the SMU generated voltage into the DAQ front panel and out through the 7702 module to reach the solar cells?

The answer is YES you can, but you should consult Tektronix/Keithley about specifics.

You can't route the front terminals to a 7702 channel in a 6510. I am assuming you want to route the SMU to the solar panel and then take a measurement on a 6510 channel. The 7702 is a multiplexer card and can't do what you want. What you need is a matrix card where you can hook up smu and dmm and then close the appropriate crosspoint to make a connection. The matrix cards for a 6510 would be a 7709.
