LabVIEW Core 1 Requirements

Hi all,

I am considering purchasing the LabVIEW Core 1 on-demand course, does this require actual hardware, or can I just use NI-MAX with DAQmx to simulate the required hardware?

I am using the community 2024 version of LabVIEW.

Edit: as normal as soon as I ask a question I find the answer seconds later, looks like I can just simulate the required hardware
