Hi RF-Peeps,
I think I have an issue with my test time regarding with RF Power and Frequency sweep for insertion loss. I attached the program (in pdf form) that I have and any advice how to reduce it? or is it normal to obtain such test time with 45 set of frequencies between 220MHz up to 380MHz?
I am using a VST5646R for RF source and measurement

Don

Hi,
Couple things you can do to speed things up:
- Use Overlapped Measurements and Names Results in the way you initiate and fetch the RFmx measurements:
https://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/377889C-01/rfmxspecan/named_results/
- Get some of the operations of RFPM, RFSG and RFmx happening in parallel.
- There are other more advanced things, but the level of complexity goes up. Here is a document with more info: https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/documentation/supplemental/18/optimizing-ni-rfmx-measurements-for-s...
Are you doing this within an STS tester? Which version of the STS Bundle are you using?

Hi JMota,
I will try to implement your recommendations, well here at our laboratories we are using NISTSRF2 Tester using Bundle 2018.
