Property Nodes Documentation?!?!

Evan and Mike,

The Developer Day had some good stuff.  I always pick up some good tips.  One area that I always struggle with is property nodes.  There never seems to be any documentation on the property methods.  I've found a few useful methods but I spend a ton of time connecting them, looking at the methods.  It would be helpful for a document or better help for what can be done with these wonderful tools.  Same goes for the invoke nodes.

I wrote a Nugget on using control references that can be found here.

Are there any specific question re:properties that you are interested in?

A good suggestion from Rolf Kalbermatter posted on Info-LabVIEW was to read every release and upgrade note. Unless they change is big enough to be mentioned in a key-note, that is the only place you will find them (Not counting posting by other users. )

Have fun!

Hi Warrior,

You can find documentation for ALL available properties and methods in the LabVIEW Help. Search the LV Help for "Class Hierarchy". Once you click on the first result, you'll get a tree view of all the VI Server Classes, methods (m), properties (p), and even events (e).

Best,

Evan
