This example implements Minesweeper/Buscaminas in LabVIEW.  While this example is built for fun (who doesn't love Minesweeper???), this example also shows LabVIEW Front Panel/GUI features.  If you are developing a LabVIEW Application requiring a quality user interface, this example may be of use to you.

Minesweeper/Buscaminas (inenglish/in spanish) is a game for one player invented by Robert Donner in 1989. The objective of this game is to clear a field of mines without exploding/uncovering any mines.  The rulers of this Minesweeper Game are the same ones that in the game included in the Windows OS.  If you are developing a user interface in LabVIEW, you should look at some properties of the Front Panelsuch as: enable/disable property to controls, right-click controls, picture rings and customized controls.

  1. Download and extract all files
  2. Open "BUSCAMINAS GAME!!!.vi"
