Collecting measurement data, saving it for reuse, and sharing it with others can be challenging. Explore the benefits of Technical Data Management Streaming (TDMS) as a file standard versus other storage techniques, and learn data-saving best practices to get the most out of your test data.

To all presenters:

Simple instructions for the "Getting Started with TDMS" demo:

1. Place down a DAQ Assistant Express VI and configure a Voltage task.
2. Select the "Logging" tab.
3. Enable TDMS Logging and [optionally] customize a TDMS Group Name.
4. Select OK.
5. To [optionally] customize properties of the TDMS file:
   1. Remove the Diagram Disable Structure from the diagram.
   2. Wire the TDMS Task Out from the DAQ Assistant
   3. Enter property Label / Value information.
6. Run the VI.
7. Open the TDMS file and browse the data and optional properties.  DIAdem is an optimal choice, but Excel works, as well.
