Very nice, I like to see XControls being adopted

One issue I found: If I start your example "Calculator Example.vi", type something like "123" into the Equation field and then press "Enter" on my keyboard, the result comes back as "0.000000"? It gives the expected Output of "123.00" if I press the "=" key, but not when I press Enter.

Also, trivially, you have the "+" control set to toggle on the "Enter" key, you ought to disable this under the RCM > Advanced > Key Navigation.
