LabVIEW Multisim Connectivity Toolkit- AC Analysis Example

The example VI shows how you can use LabVIEW to open a Multisim file, run an AC analysis and then show the results in a LabVIEW graph. This VI was created using LabVIEW 12.0, LabVIEW Multisim Connectivity Toolkit (beta) and Multisim 12.

Before running the VI, you have to place a probe in the Multisim schematic and this will tell LabVIEW where to get the data.   In the Multisim, you can find the measurement probe from the menu Simulate»Instruments»Measurement probes, place the probe at the output node.  It is possible to place more than one probe to view multiple outputs.

Once you have setup the Multisim schematic, open the attached VI.  On the front panel, click the folder and navigate to the Multisim file.  You are not ready to run the VI.  If you have more than one probe, the block diagram, the Index Array can be use to select which probe to plot.
