Overview
This example demonstrates how to scale images to a specific range.
Description
When working with images, one may find it necessary to deaden features that fall outside a certain pixel range. We can do this by creating our own customized scale the coerces out of bounds pixel values and scales our subset data to fall within a set pixel range. This has the effect of smoothing image data, allowing easier identification of features.
In this example, U8 image data is used, however, the example could be easily modified to work with other image types, by simply changing the representation and the color pallette used.
