Overview

This example Shows how to do digital zoom with a webcam in LabVIEW.


Description
this is NOT true zooming, the VI is focusing on a particular area of the image. For true zoom one will need a webcam that has an optical zoom.


Requirements

  • LabVIEW 2012 (or compatible)


Steps to Implement or Execute Code

  1. Connect webcam to your PC
  2. open MAX and ensure it is connected and working correctly
  3. Make a note of the name in MAX
  4. Open the VI, choose the webcam from the drop down list
  5. Run the VI
  6. Play with the zoom
