Overview

The RyLabs Symbols Editor quickly edits a listbox or tree control custom symbols and copies the image data array and symbols ring constant to the clipboard. This editor copies and manipulates the symbol ring constant images to display the selected 16 x 16 pixel symbols.

Menu

Open the RyLabs Symbols Editor from the Tools > RyLabs > Symbols Editor... menu.

User Interface

The RyLabs Symbols Editor searches the selected folder for any images 16 x 16 pixels or fewer. The clear symbols button empties the current symbols list. Add a symbol from the library by double-clicking the symbol or pressing the add button.

Once you have the symbols list updated, press OK to export the image data array and symbols ring constant to the clipboard.

On the block diagram paste ('Ctrl-V') the image data array and symbol ring constant. The symbol ring constant updates with the currently selected symbol images.

Example

Wire the image data array to the a listbox or tree 'Set to Custom Symbols Array' invoke node and use the symbols ring constant to set the item symbols.
