Overview: This example uses the Report Generation Toolkit to Open, Edit, and Save changes to an Excel document.
Description:
This example uses the Report Generation Toolkit to Open, Edit, and Save changes to an Excel document. It does not require saving a copy and replacing the original. This example can be altered for use with Standard Reports, Word, and HTML. It works with Shared documents as well.
This does not prompt to save. It will write to the spreadsheet specified without warning.
Requirements: LabVIEW 2012 (or compatible). Hardware: none.
Steps to Implement or Execute Code:
1. Select path to the excel document.
2. Run the VI.
3. This does not prompt to save. It will write to the spreadsheet specified without warning.
4. See the result in the selected .xls.
