Nice document. Yet, this way of creating a udl file will show the 64-bit version of the Data Link Properties dialog (that will not work with the LV Database Connectivity toolset for example) if you're running a 64-bit Windows. To force it to 32-bit, you have to type a pretty long command line, or just go to Tools -> Create Data Link in LabVIEW.
