DRILL 68
Descripción / Description
El proyecto “DRILL 68” consiste en la automatización del afilado para brocas de metal, dando simetría en el ángulo requerido y garantizando la seguridad de los usuarios ya que este proceso resulta ser peligroso si no se tiene la debida precaución. Este proyecto nació a raíz de un taller de tornos y fresadoras llamado “MSI” localizado en la ciudad de Chihuahua, México.
Usamos la interfaz LabVIEW para monitorear los procesos del afilado, qué paso está realizando la maquina en el proceso del afilado de la broca para metal.
The “DRILL 68” Project consists in the automation for the sharpening of the metal drill bits, giving symmetry to the required angle and ensuring the security for the users. In fact this process is dangerous if the users do not have the necessary preventive measures. This project was originated in a lathe shop called “MSI” located in Chihuahua city, Mexico.
We use LabVIEW interface to monitor the process of the drill bit sharp, what step is doing the machine in the process of sharp for the metal drill bits.

To provide a metal drill sharpening system to the company MSI, based on our expertise, bringing an enhancement on security and symmetry when such an operation is performed with a low cost.
