Is Name Multiplatform.vi - why you're hiding from us?

OK, I know why "Is Name Multiplatform.vi" (vi.lib\Utility\libraryn.llb\Is Name Multiplatform.vi) is not available in palette. I know that thanks to "Hidden Gems in vi.lib.pptx" But anyway this is quite useful VI for filename validation and it looks like properly developed VI, so why not to add it to the default set of VIs?

This is situation similar to "Check Prime.vi" subject... Darren maybe another CAR?

I have filed CAR 554363 to get the Is Name Multiplatform VI added to the Advanced File IO palette in a future LabVIEW release.

This function is super handy and I've been using it for years.  One thing I also did was made a subVI that uses this function, which accepts a path, and then turns that path into a multiplatform compatibile path, instead of just checking the file name.

Look for Is Name Multiplatform.vi in Quick Drop (and on the Advanced File Functions palette) in LabVIEW 2016!
