G# should set and load the default connector Pane from LabVIEW.ini

Please use the setting in LabVIEW.ini to save and read the default connector pane. It is in the section [LabVIEW], the key defaultConPane. (This setting is used at once, not after the next LabVIEW restart.)

The setting of G# always overwrites the one in the ini file. See my problem in

Yes, we are aware of this situation and it has also been discussed on the forum before. Please see: https://decibel.ni.com/content/message/32272#32272.

There has been a lot of internal discussions regarding how to do with the connector pane size, but since many G# users are "old GOOP" users, where conn pane is the 6x4x4x6 as default (which in my opinion is better suited for OO, since ref in and ref out always "steals" two connector). If we would use the connector pane settings from labview.ini (which if not specified is set to 4x2x2x4 pattern), which means that all G# users would get the 4x2x2x4 pattern by default. In the very first versions of G# this was the case, where we got a lot of feedback from users that wanted us to set the "usual" OO pattern.

As it is for now, we are going to let the functionallity be as it is,but could improve the information about how it works. But, the good news is there is now two discussions on the forum, making it easier to find information.

I'm aware that this isn't the answer you hoped for, but now you know the reasons. Sorry for any problems that this might caused you.
