The LabVIEW Code Challenge Winter 2011-2012 User Interface challenge is to be decided by 'likes'.
I've had at least 7 people so far email me to wish me luck and say they voted for me. Even though they saw the counter increment, when I checked, their 'like' wasn't registered.
I wonder how many people are clicking like but it not sticking?
I will try to work out how to reproduce this error but in the meantime you should know that the voting system is seriously flawed.
Has anyone else become aware of this?
Just in case you thought it was a one-off, here is what I did this morning:
1. Open email client for first time today and receive email from decibel.ni.com about new document.
2. Click link in email, decibel.ni.com shows me as still being logged in from yesterday.
3. Click like on document (notice it increments the count)
4. Refresh page - 'like' is gone.
Thank you for continuing to help us with this issue. We have reported a known issue in the Help Center and our IT is currently working to resolve it.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
We have successfully implemented a configuration change on the NI Community and have verified that users can successfully log out of the NI Community, as well as log-in and be properly redirected to the page initially being viewed. We believe this has also resolved the issue of appearing to be logged in when you are actually not- which caused issues with liking documents.
Please let us know if you are still experience issues with liking documents.
Thank you for your assistance and patience while troubleshooting this issue.
