using cRIO to control Festo CPX via Devicenet

Has anyone got any experience with using the cRIO to control DEVICENET devices? My lab at CSM recently obtained a cRIO and a device n et module, and wea re trying to use it to control some of the Festo pneumatic modules (CPXFB-11).

I have some experience with device net but that was with allen and Bradley soft and hardware. Any advice would be appreciated

I've had a little exposure to this but not a whole lot. The project I worked on evaluated both the NI-9882 (DeviceNet) and the PXI-8532 (DeviceNet). The project ended up pursuing the PXI platform because it supported Electronic Data Sheets unlike the cRIO DeviceNet platform. Beyond reading the NI-9882 Operating Instructions I would also look  at the Industrial Communication for DeviceNet help file and review the examples in the example finder within LabVIEW.
