Error 5001 and 5005

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello, I have a functioning VI which was experiencing this issue before and was discussed here

The issue was resolved. Everything seemed to work perfectly, I got the readings I needed from the setup. I unplugged the whole set up and re-wired the system. I get the same error. I used the highlight code option and it showes me "Error 5005" during the initializing stage. I checked the pins on arduino with the oscilloscope to see if all pins are giving out the 5V that I want, but this doesnt happen. When the Boolean (as shown in the code) are switched ON not all pins give out 5V.

Why is that?? Is it an issue with arduino or is my code wrong??

Should I re install the drivers adn set it up again?

Please Help

Thank You

I did look at this page. When I check for arduino driver It says drivers not installed or not required. Error Arduino Drivers.JPG

What is funny is, it worked perfectly before I unplugged my circuit.

I use Windows 8. and my NI-VISA is 5.4

I further went to check if I can load LIFA, I could, but was unable to select the port.

Pictures attached.

I followed instructions listed on this pageFullscreen capture 662014 41101 PM.bmp.jpg

Thanks

It looks like Windows does not recognize your Arduino.  You probably need to re-install the drivers.  Therefore, this is not an issue with LIFA.

One tip that I have is that you can double the speed of your code by moving all of the Set Digital Pin Mode VIs in front of the while loop.  You could even do it all with a single instance of the Set Digital Pin Mode VI in a for loop.

Thank You,

I am re-installing it. But then when I am trying to do that, it says drivers already exist. Why cant my system recognize the drivers?? Any idea if this will be a recurring issue?

Thank You.

LIFA was replaced by LINX a couple years ago.  Therefore, I'd recommend using LINX.  If you are still having issues, please post on the LINX forums.

ok! Thank's!

But the problem is in the compatibility. This version is not compatible to any system like my PC!

What does that mean?  What is not compatible?
