sbRIO-9651 SD Card Dispaly

Dear Community,

I'm trying to read a SDHC 32GB Card FAT fomatted from the NI 9651 carrier board.

I insert the SD card and the DS5 Led power up but I'm unable to see it from the device&interface in NI MAX nor in the system webpage.

Can you help?

Hi cortexM,

You will not be able to see the SD card from MAX nor the system webpage. It will present itself in the same way as a USB flash drive if you have used those in the past on the RIO platform. It mounts as a U: drive. If there is already removable media installed, it will show up as V:, W:, etc.

If you have FTP enabled, you should be able to navigate to that drive; otherwise, you use the appropriate filepath in LabVIEW to target the SD card.

I have found that the Get Volume Info VI works well to identify if you have an SD card inserted or not. I actually responded to a similar question a while back on the forums.

Let me know if I am not fully understanding your question.
