SLUGs Meeting December 8th, 2015 - TOPICS NEEDED!

The next SLUGs meeting is fast approaching and we do not have a topic or speaker set for the meeting yet.  If you are interested in giving a presentation, please reply to this thread and I will contact you to get the details.

If you just have some ideas or requests for topics to be presented, please post them here and we can see if there is someone who is willing to put together a presentation.

I need to have the topic decided by the end of next week (11/20) so please respond as soon as possible.

CLAs - remember you can get recertification points for giving a user group presentation.  Here is your chance to take advantage of this benefit!

If I don't get a volunteer, I will put together a presentation on one of the following topics:

•Using web services to implement an automation interface

•Design a database interface for SQLite using .NET

•Common OOP patterns and how/why to use them in G

•Understanding the Actor Framework

If one of these interests you the most, please reply with your vote.

Hope to see you all next month!

John,

If you are interested, maybe we could do related presentations on SQL. I

have a set of .NET based VIs to interface to MySQL more cleanly than the

database toolkit. Maybe it would be interesting for the group to see the

differences between SQL and SQLite interfacing?

That sounds like a good idea.  How long do you need for your presentation?
