What is the NI-SoM factory setup?

Especially with reference to ethernet 0 port.

The default configuration for Ethernet Adapter eth0 is DHCP or Link Local. This means the SOM will attempt to establish a DHCP network connection. If the SOM cannot initiate a DHCP connection, it will connect to the network with a link-local IP address. Is this what you meant by factory setup or is there something else I can help answer?
