StarSim Control IP - A Tool to Help Users Design Power Electronics Controllers on NI FPGA Hardware

Hi all,

We are pleased to let you know that ModelingTech has a new toolkit, StarSim Control IP, to help users design power electronics controllers on NI FPGA hardware. This tool is a LabVIEW addon toolkit, it consists of control algorithm VIs and LabVIEW FPGA hardware projects (such as projects for GPIC 9607).

Control Algorithm VIs:

This toolkit contains the most frequently used power electronics control functions, such as PLL, PI and SVPWM (space vector pulse width modulation). These VIs are all written with the SGL (single precision floating point) data type and have been designed and optimized for the FPGA execution. These VIs are building blocks for users to create their own control diagrams.

LabVIEW FPGA hardware projects:

These hardware projects illustrate how to integrate algorithm VIs with the NI FPGA hardware, such as GPIC 9607. These are the good started points for users to create customized controllers. The projects include some most typical power electronics applications, such as the grid tied inverter control, the PMSM motor control.
