Biography:

Urs Lauterburg is responsible for the technical support of the education program at the Physics Institute of the University of Bern, Switzerland. He installs and presents a large number of demonstration experiments for the introductory physics lectures and supervises the development and maintenance of an extensive inventory of student lab experiments. Urs introduced LabVIEW data acquisition technologies for university level physics education in 1991 and has created a large library of applications over the years. Besides his engagement at the institute he teaches LabVIEW courses at workshops and consults start-up companies with their needs to integrate LabVIEW graphical programming for measurement and automation.

Urs uses LabVIEW for MacOSX and would like to see more support for LabVIEW's native platform (LV1 was released on the Apple Macintosh in 1986).
