Hello,

which Versions of LabVIEW and the Xilinx Tool are you using? You could try to repair the Xilinx Tool.

Does the error occurs only with this VI? I would try to compile another VI, you could try an VI of an FPGA myRIO example (see in LabVIEW Help > Examples).

You could post your code here so that I could try to compile it on my PC to see whether it would work.

Have a nice day,

Janna

Hey Michael,

Compiling on Windows 8 is likely the culprit. Xilinx, who makes the FPGA Compiler NI uses, does not support Windows 8.

http://www.ni.com/labview/requirements/

 - Check out the FPGA sections

http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LabVIEW-FPGA-Module-Support-for-Windows-8/td-p/2232662

 - Has some possible workarounds and a more detailed explanation

Cheers!
