Hiii

I am connecting an external controller to sbRIO through RS232 port on the the sbRIO target.

but the device is not showing up under the devices and interfaces in MAX . Actually I am reading and writing data to the controller thyrough Modbus protocol using boud variables. when i directly connect the controller to the serial port of laptop it works well but i have to implement the same vi on the RT target and read from the controller.

Can you please help me to configure the things properly.

Which sbRIO are you using?

I am using sbRIO 9601 and it is continuously showing timeout error with the same code thatworks perfectly fine on PC.
