Elijah Kerry of NI provided an example of dynamic actors stored in lookup tables in his project called 'Measurement Utility (Plugin Hardware Abstraction Layer Using Actor Framework)' at
https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-21441#/?page=5.
If one installs that project one gets more items in \user.lib\Common Components\, among is \Methods\Measurements Scan.vi, which scans a set of directories for class definitions *.lvclass and converts them into measurements-objects, which are stored in a lookup table of the caller object of type 'Controller'. Those objects are handled with Get_variant_attribute and Set_variant_attribute - the only problem is to get unique names.
The elegance of this solutionsis hard to explain with words.
Thank you all at NI!
