Wow, I didn't think I would spin off so many replies. I've been very busy the last few days and my time on the forum has been limited. Yes I used an online translator to create those funny looking characters. Every line says "Do you speak (insert language name here)"
Mathan: I was just curious, nothing else. I like to meet foreign people as I find them quite interesting. I speak French also, but not that great at it. I know a few words and phrases in Spanish, since I live in Arizona, close to Mexico. I work with people from India. Most of the Indians (from India, not the cowboy and Indian ones) that I've met are quite intelligent. That speaks a lot for your educational system (unlike America). I absolutely love Indian food. My favorite is Matter Paneer, southern Indian style.
I had an uncle who could speak, read, and write six different languages fluently (French, English, Spanish, Latin, Russian, German). He once taught at Notre Dame university. I wish I could learn six languages. But I'll settle for three when I'm done learning Spanish.
