It would be an interesting paradigm..   Since we know that there are particles that travel faster than light and people associate the speed of light with time, in that logic someone could make that hypothesis. If you believe that time is associated with 'c', then did those particles arrive before they left?

 

I think time is separate from speed.  If we could travel in time instead of a velocity, then we could be anywhere at any time.  Thus arriving on Mars before leaving Earth.  Which brings the next questions:  Where are we really?  Which one is the real me?
