Freeware-Viewer for Labview VI's ?

Labview offers a lot of features and it is very powerful in many applications.

I miss just one thing !

When i have a algorithm, graphically programmed in Labview, i want to discuss it with others.

But they don't have Labview. What to do now ?

The PDF exchange does not really help, because scaling and viewing is not really comfortable

Wouldn't it be cool to have a Viewer for Labview-VI's free of charge ?

[Just a viewer !]

Also a plugin for Open-Office or Powerpoint-Presentations would be a great feature.

A presentation of Labview - VI's (not executing, just viewing, zooming etc.) would be possible then.

This could also help NI to establish LabView as a programming standard

Every C++, C#, Pascal-, Fortran-, MatLab and SciLab Code can be viewed with a text editor.

Why not having something like a viewer for Labview-VI's.

This viewer should just provide vieving VI and toggling through "case" and "while-structures" and so on.

Is there an existing solution similar to my ideas available ?

Thanks for your reply.

Couldn't agree more!

This little tool would be great help when you wanna explain something to someone while there is not LabVIEW environment around. I would be very happy to see this kind of application come around soon

I almost built one, but LabVIEW run-time doesn't support Print VI to html... otherwise it is quite simple and you can scroll through code and with snippet tool can do wonders with different versions

If NI will ever allow in run-time to print and save for previous, than it won't be a problem to create such application.

I could really use this right now!  Something that shows the block diagram and allows me to assess whether the VI is useful enought to transfer across to my lab equipment?

Has anything been down about this?  Any updates in 2011 or 2012 SP?

even a 'print handler' so that you could print the filename.vi
