unfortunally you have the same problem as Chris.

Mac303 posted a workaround some weeks ago in this discussion.

Perhaps it can solve your problem until the release!

The release of 2.1 is planned in the december of 2014

is any version of Excel installed on the target computer that has issues? Still, which versions of Windows and LabVIEW are you using? Have you been able to reproduce the issue on other computers?

I have office 2010, LabView 2014, I did not test it on any other compute.

Still have teh same problem, what else is fixed in this version? append data is working now or not yet?

yes, append should work. I will send you a little debug VI to test for the extraction issue.

A list of resolved issues can be found when installing the package. Among others, these are

- "Read Area (All Types)", formula results are now user-selectable (#738, #739)

- "Wipe Sheet" functionality improved (#731)

- multiple sheets selected issue solved (#722, #700)

- "Get Named Ranges" returns the correct row and column value (#736)

- charts are no longer modified by XLR8 (#711, #627)

- correct display of formula results (#710)

- writes blank cells for NaN or Inf values in "Write Area" (#326)

- no longer underlines text when changing the font of a cell (#427)

- enhanced and clarified documentation of various VIs
