Yes, but the data never reaches the file. I suspect it is still in memory when I close the file.

 

I've managed to flush appended data to the file before closing the file by appending one last block of garbage. I did not check to see if this solved my properties problems. It might have.

 

Bottom line: this free DLL is not appropriate for my needs. I'll not be using it in the future. My client is willing to pay for Measurement Studio and my development will continue on the TDMS library supplied in that package.
