Overview

This VI demonstrates how to overlay the cross hair on an image and calculate the distance between a center of a circle
 and the cross hair.

 

Description

This VI overlays a cross hair on an image and determine the distance to the center of a circle. In this example, the crosshair location can be specified by the user by selecting the location on the example image or by changing the coordinates of the cross hair. The distance from the cross hair to the center of a circle is displayed.

 

Requirements

 Software

  • LabVIEW Base Development System 2012 (or compatible)
  • NI Vision Development Module 2012 (or compatible)
  • If running in a Real-Time context, you will need the LabVIEW Real-Time Module 2012 (or compatible)

 Hardware

  • No hardware is necessary to use this example VI

 

 Steps to Implement or Execute Code

  1. Download and open the attached ZIP-file
  2. Open the VI and follow the instructions inside
