Did you mean:

set date to my cRIO

Hi people, my question is this.

So i have a cRIO and I'm trying to configure date and time settings. For the time i have no issues, but when I try to configure the date I'm gettin error code #1, "invalid input parameter".

Im using network shared variables, since this VI will be hosted by the cRIO as a stand alone, there the necesity of configuring the time & date from the host computer. i've attached the VI im using to get the date & time fromt the computer, and the VI hosted by the cRIO.

The clusters on the "set date and time computer" vi, are the shared variables, which are linked to a typedef made from that output cluster.

Hope we can come up with a solution.

Regards

Elmer Rodriguez.

Have you tried setting the date from the web interface?  Point your browser at the cRIO's IP address.  There should be a page for setting the date.

Yes I'm aware of that, but my cRIO-9075 doesn't support time setting configuration. I have to do it programatically.

What version of LabVIEW RT do you have on the cRIO?

my cRIO has the VxWorks RTOS and I'm using LV 2011

I've already tried this:

go to ni.com/info and enter
the Info Code criosntp.

But it didn't seemed to work
