New badge and user rank appearance?

Are the new badge and user rank appearance changes by design? Or have I run into a CSS bug?

 

Here's some examples of the changes I'm referring to (tested under Chrome and Firefox):

Big user rank. Causes text overlap when replying to a message. 'Lower' user ranks seem unchanged.

I have same question. Why my icon is square?

Starting this (central European) morning I see a formatting glitch when replying to a message:

The user rank is shifted down into the text of the message I reply to.

 

I guess this is related to those other changes done in the forum software, like changed formatting of "Autosave" or that "Success!" disclaimer after successfully posting a message…

 

Edit: It seems I'm not the only one seeing those formatting glitches…

The rank icon isn't big for 'members'.

 

If it's a feature, it's not consistent...
