I know others have tried and failed but I thought I could give it a shot too. I am using the example vi for IEC 60870-104 in labview 2017. I have a 60870-104 slave (server) running on another tool and wanted to see if I can write some single points via the LabView Write Single Point vi to the server. The IP address and name of the channel are all correct but still, there is no communication. For one thing, I cannot find where I can set up the TCP port in the vi. Can anyone offer any help or guidance? I know others have had problems with it too so if you could give any hint, it is very much appreciated. Thanks!
