Cannot connect to GPIB-usb(82357B) while using Windows 10

Hello everyone,

I got problem from connect GPIB-USB (82357B) to computer(Windows 10). It always shows red LED at 'FAIL'. And I've installed both VISA driver and IEEE488.2 driver. What should I do to solve this problem?

The (82357B) is a Keysight GPIB-USB, so you have to install the Keysight IO drivers for it.  Then, to use NI-VISA you have to enable the Tulip passport.  See the full details here - https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019L2jSAE&l=en-CA

Thank you for your answer. But I've done all. And in Keysight Connection Expert is still not found my GPIB to USB. But my computer can detect it as the picture show. And my GPIB to USB still show red LED.

Well, what version of Windows 10, version of Keysight I/O, version of NI-VISA did you install?  Have you clicked on the yellow warning triangle and one through the re-install driver?  It seems your driver is not properly installed. That maybe because you plugged the device in, then installed software and it was never auto-detected.  Consult the Keysight FAQ for the hardware - https://www.keysight.com/main/software.jspx?ckey=1184883&lc=eng&cc=CA&nid=-32516.426029&id=1184883

 

If you still have problems phone your Keysight rep, they should be able to troubleshoot with you.
